Photography Rooted in Brick & Blossom.

SPECIALTIES

  • Natural Landscapes

Whether it’s the rugged Cornish coastline or the mountainous valleys of Wales, my work offers a detailed observation and exploration of Britain’s rich and diverse landscape, capturing the tranquility to be found around every corner.

  • Urban Architecture

In every brutalist monolith and glass giant that our cities harbour lie poems about light, weather and time. My approach to metropolises is one that appreciates each concrete curve and urban spire for what they are: reflections of our existence.

  • Fauna & Flora

As if they were echoes of our own existence, so too are the birds ever restless and hilltop grass ever billowing in the wind. This section of my practice aims to capture the sheer elegance and effortlessly timelessness of our living planet.

eyes below: Glass, Earth & Stone Paperback copy
from £15.00

Made with a selection of photos from the ‘London, 2025’ collection, this extensive book gives a new way to experience the buildings of the big city in a physical, tangible way. This book invites you to look closely and see the rhythm in repetition, the poetry in concrete, and the elegance in decay.

Through refined photography and restrained prose, eyes below: Glass, Earth & Stone explores the emotional and aesthetic language of architecture, acting less a guide to each location and more a visual essay. This is a study of light, shadow, geometry, silence as well as our progress as a creative species, giving a unique view to the structures of London and its relation to its inhabitants.

Made in collaboration with graphic designer, Millie Gibson, this distinctive perspective on London’s architectural make-up has a keen eye for design as well as a photographer’s lens. This gives each page and larger spread a unique appearance and layout, inviting readers to twist the book and change their perspective of these large monolithic structures, just as the photographer had whilst capturing them.

Each copy is personally signed by Ivan, along with a unique thank you message.
