COLOUR TYPOLOGY
04.2023
A study in surface and time, where colour, erosion, and intervention meet. All cards are on the table. . . or the wall.
These images form a quiet typology, observing the interplay between maintenance and neglect, between what is preserved and what is left to fade.
Through repeated documentation across different locations, the work reveals how built environments absorb the passage of time.
Here, colour is not treated plainly as just ‘decoration’, but as evidence of presence, of history, of entropy.
Maybe we think our buildings will stand the tests of time. . .
Mother Nature has something else to say.
